£5 per quarterly filing

No monthly subscription. No annual tie-in. Pay only for what you file.

£5
per quarterly filing

Four quarterly filings a year = £20/year total.
Your year-end Final Declaration stays with your accountant or HMRC's free channel — MTDLite handles the quarterly data drops only.

How it works

1

Connect HMRC

Authorise MTDLite via your Government Gateway login. We never see your password — it's OAuth, the same standard used by banks.

2

Enter your totals

One plain form per business. Enter your quarterly income and expense category totals — no journals, no double-entry, no chart of accounts.

3

Review and submit

See exactly what will be sent. Confirm, and we submit to HMRC's MTD API with the required fraud-prevention headers.

4

Keep the record

Your submission payload, HMRC's confirmation, and a PDF snapshot are archived for 6 years in case HMRC ever asks.

MTDLite files what you give it. Nothing more.

We deliberately do not:

  • Calculate your tax bill or suggest what to claim
  • Submit your Final Declaration (year-end return) — that stays with your accountant or HMRC's free channel
  • Import from spreadsheets or bank feeds — you enter totals directly
  • Charge a monthly fee or lock you into an annual subscription

This isn't a limitation — it's what makes MTDLite affordable and not a tax-advice product.
